内核の波「殻(shell)」(2006)
ずっと書こうと思っていたのに発売から半年も経ってしまったけど、これはものすごい一枚。タイトなリズムセクションに乗って、清楚な響きのフルートとヘヴィなギターの絡みが長丁場を飽きさせずに進行する。トランペットやメロトロンをフィーチャーした曲もそれぞれあり、前作に比べて彩り豊かな印象。最初から最後まで隙がなく、途切れない緊張感がたまらない。Focus, Anglagard, Brand X, Camelあたりのファンにお勧めする。(あまり共通点ないけど)
